The water has been polluted and this causes an alteration in the male thinking, making men into raging misogynist with the sole objective to massacre women. When society becomes a land of horrible violence and sadistic brutality, Phil O'Ginny and Misandra appear. They try to curb all this wave of cruel sadism and premature ejaculation.
There were great expectations for this film goremaníacos indie that has had very good reviews from the community knowledgeable about the subject, and the truth is that "The taint " does not disappoint. For my taste is far from the visual agility and ecstasy film involving works as The Evil Dead (1981) or Braindead (1992) , but it is certainly the most mindless (in a good sense of the word), is hilarious and excessive gore seen in the USA lately. Basically this is a zombie movie, but instead of eating human flesh, men infected by contaminated water destroy all the women found their way in a fit of brutal misogyny, with a fierce (but fun and casual ) critique of sexism, anti-abortion, racism ( tremendous one of the last scenes of two infected whipping a black girl ... the most curious thing is that she enjoys - !?!?!? ) or vivisection ( excellent animated short rabbits). The film may also be taken as a film-style episode Creepshow (1982 /...) , as there are sub-plots, each one more insane, leading to the main story. Politically incorrect, chaos And ultragore, "The taint " resembles very much the mood of the Troma, being more a comedy than a horror film. The men (except anti-hero protagonist ) become pathetic creatures large penises hanging, which realizes a hardened self-made woman same ( clubs here are all ) starring one of the best scenes of the film in its latest confrontation with Ludas with feminist speech cut short in a display of heavy black humor that is predominant in the film . For those who enjoyed the excessive gore and imaginative, "The taint " is an absolute delight, it is not cut at all, or thorny issues or explicit scenes overflowing with sick imagination. Well given a slap to the prevailing male-dominated society but very well thought out, without moralizing absurd and more committed to the pure and simple fun. With a budget short but strong FX and very accomplished, " The taint " is a gift for lovers of splatter exaggerated and entertaining. I think this is enough to have some fun and enjoy this psychotronic madness. A for her ...
