That sounds so simple it is certainly difficult to achieve, especially in young unknown directors. If Robin Kasparik not raining offers for his first after seeing this " Seance", something unusual happens. And this, his second short, is a delight. He does not need spectacular special effects, great show and no money to achieve their purpose: to create a small gem that is a joy for the body of anyone who likes horror movies. And we engage with a story of pure amateur history supernatural touches of Hammer and Poe, dare I say with great influence of the first Raimi as a screenplay.

Everything in "Seance " is attention to detail: music ( directly responsible for the tremendous tension that emanates film), the performances, the gorgeous setting ( with four things get their tasks ) Lovecraftian touches , the great moments of suspense, and above all impeccable performance, with a deft camera work. The worst, of course, is that it is a short, because history gives promise for a long ( not discard anything, ...); fingers crossed yet, the 18 minutes that fly in amazing ways, and when it reaches the end you're left with an ambiguous sense of satisfaction and frustration instead of not being able to continue enjoying the plot.
Just 4 characters and 3 bedrooms are sufficient to Kasparik to present a more solid candidate to become the great respect of the Czech Republic. The most difficult (do a splendid job ) has done, now it is having good luck and can continue their work. Hopefully, as we, fans of good horror films, will be the winners.
